To foster close communication between school and home, and to cultivate friendly relations between parents and teachers, as well as among parents.
To discuss matters of common concern and work together to enhance the welfare of students at CUHK FAA Chan Chun Ha Kindergarten.
1. 會員資格 Membership Eligibility

當然會員 Official Members: 本校現任的校長和教師為當然會員。
The current Principal
and teachers of the School are ex-officio members.
·
一般會員 General Members: 凡在本校就讀學生的家長或監護人均自動成為會員。
Parents or guardians of
all students currently enrolled in the School automatically become members.
·
榮譽會員 Honorary Members: 下列人士可以申請為榮譽會員：
The following persons
may apply for honorary membership:
o 本校前任校長和教師
(Former principals and teachers of the School)
o 子女離校之家長
(Parents whose children have left the School)
o 本校校友
(Alumni of the School)
2. 權利與義務 Rights and Obligations

各會員有權選舉及被選為幹事，以及在有權出席的會議中享有投票權。(榮譽會員享有投票權利，惟不能擔任幹事會職位。)
All members have the
right to elect and be elected as Executive Committee members, and to vote at
meetings they are entitled to attend. (Honorary members enjoy voting rights
but cannot serve as Executive Committee officers.)

各會員必須履行及遵守會章各項規則，並依從會議的決定。
All members must abide by
and observe all rules of this Constitution and comply with resolutions made at
meetings.
1. 會員大會 General Meeting
· 本會由「會員大會」和「幹事會」組成。「會員大會」由全體會員組成，為本會的最高權力機構。在「會員大會」休會期間，本會的所有會務均由「幹事會」處理。
The Association consists of the General Meeting and the Executive Committee. The General Meeting, composed of all members, is the highest authority. During recess, all affairs shall be handled by the Executive Committee.
· 「會員大會」由「幹事會」召開，幹事會因應需要，可召開「特別會員大會」。
The General Meeting shall be convened by the Executive Committee. Special General Meetings may be convened as needed.
· 「會員大會」每年最少應舉行一次，通常安排在學年開始時進行。會上，上屆主席須就本會在上學年的一般會務及財政狀況作出報告；並主持應屆幹事會選舉，以選出應屆的「幹事會」幹事去執行會務工作。
An Annual General Meeting (AGM) shall be held at least once a year, usually at the beginning of the academic year. The outgoing Chairperson shall report on the general affairs and financial status of the past academic year, and preside over the election of the new Executive Committee.
· 幹事會或不少於百分之十會員人數書面要求，可召開特別會員大會，而會議須於十四日前通告全體會員，並列明有關討論事項及開會日期、時間、地點。
A Special General Meeting may be convened upon written request from the Executive Committee or not less than 10% of the total membership. Notice shall be given 14 days prior, stating the agenda, date, time, and venue.
· 所有「會員大會」的法定出席人數不少於三分之一會員。
The quorum for all General Meetings shall be no less than one-third of the total membership.
2. 幹事會 Executive Committee
· 「幹事會」由十一名幹事組成，其中六名家長會員，五名教師會員 (由校方委任)。
The Executive Committee comprises 11 members: 6 Parent Members and 5 Teacher Members (appointed by the School).
· 「幹事會」的卸任幹事，可提名六名或以上家長會員競選新一屆幹事會幹事。
Outgoing Executive Committee members may nominate 6 or more parent members to run for the new Executive Committee.
· 學校應於舉行周年會員大會前，由校長指派適當人選加入幹事會，並在「會員大會」上確認。
Prior to the AGM, the Principal shall designate suitable candidates for Teacher Members to join the Executive Committee, to be endorsed at the AGM.
· 新、舊「幹事會」應於「周年會員大會」之後盡快聯合舉行首次會議，並確定各選任幹事在新一屆幹事會的職責：
The incoming and outgoing Executive Committees shall hold their joint first meeting as soon as possible after the AGM to determine the duties of elected officers:
o 主席 Chairperson: 家長會員 (Parent Member)
o 副主席 Vice-Chairperson: 家長會員和教師會員 (Parent & Teacher Members)
o 秘書 Secretary: 家長會員和教師會員 (Parent & Teacher Members)
o 司庫 Treasurer: 家長會員和教師會員 (Parent & Teacher Members)
o 康樂及福利 Recreation & Welfare: 家長會員和教師會員 (Parent & Teacher Members)
o 聯絡 Liaison Officer: 家長會員和教師會員 (Parent & Teacher Members)
· 所有幹事的任期均為一學年。
The term of office for all Executive Committee members is one academic year.
· 「幹事會」有權增選幹事，以填補年中出現的空缺。
The Executive Committee has the power to co-opt members to fill vacancies occurring during the year.
· 「幹事會」有權為任何突發性的事件增設顧問以執行處理工作。
The Executive Committee has the power to appoint advisors to handle ad-hoc or unforeseen events.
· 在同一屆任期內，同一家庭不可以有兩名成員出任「幹事會」的幹事。
No two members from the same family shall serve on the Executive Committee during the same term.
· 在會議中，若贊同及反對的票數相同，則主席可以投決定性一票。
In the event of an equality of votes at a meeting, the Chairperson shall have a casting vote.
· 幹事會的所有幹事均為本會的義務工作人員。
All Executive Committee officers serve on a voluntary basis.
由「會員大會」選出一名義務核數師，負責每年最少查核本會的帳目一次。
An Honorary Auditor shall be elected at the General Meeting to audit the accounts of the Association at least once a year.
1. 會章的任何修訂均須經由「會員大會」/「特別會員大會」的三分之一或以上出席的家長會員通過。
Any amendment to the Constitution must be passed by one-third or more of the parent members present at a General Meeting or Special General Meeting.
2. 如遇本會解散，有關的解散決定，須獲出席「會員大會」或「特別會員大會」的三分之一或以上家長會員贊同。若有任何餘下的資產，應按參與該次會議的家長會員的議決去執行。
In the event of dissolution, the decision must be approved by one-third or more of the parent members present at a General Meeting or Special General Meeting. Any remaining assets shall be disposed of according to the resolution passed by the parent members present at that meeting.
